Key functionalities:
- Streamlined Trip Planning: With a simple tap, you can access the avalanche forecast, weather forecast, weather stations, and zone-specific observations. To minimize scrolling, forecast components are collapsible, and navigating between zones is easy.
- Offline Caching: Nature doesn't always provide a strong signal, so Avy has integrated offline caching. Even when you're off the grid, you have access to forecasts, weather data and observations you previously viewed.
- Observation Submission: Submitting your own observations to contribute to the community has never been easier. Offline caching allows you to submit your observation without connectivity and it’ll automatically upload when you get back to service.
- Weather Data Optimization: Checking weather station data is crucial for understanding what conditions you’ll find then you get to the mountains. With Avy the process of selecting your weather station and viewing the data is cleaner and easier to tease out the information you’re looking for.
